We are happy to announce our first major post-COVID event. Always popular, the Strawberry Social celebrates the beginning of summer and provides an opportunity for friends and neighbours to become re-acquainted after a long winter (or, in this case, a long COVID period). And what’s more delicious than fresh strawberries to mark the occasion?
All proceeds from this year’s event will be going to the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund.
Those of you who have been affiliated with the Centre for some time are aware of the issues we've had creating and maintaining an online presence so that our community members (you) can easily access the calendar of activities and be made aware of any special events coming up. As a volunteer-run organization, spending the big bucks to get a website designed and managed is a no-go, however there are less expensive (i.e. free) options, and this is one. Hopefully the folks at Blogger will maintain this capability for some time to come, but in the meantime, we're back.
